What is the Organologia Institute?
By exploring the pasts and futures of organizations — their techniques, practices, and the knowledge developed around them — the OI aims to propose alternative ways of organizing work, consumption, and life more broadly, with a view to addressing contemporary grand challenges.
Grand societal challenges are existential in a dual sense: they threaten the material, biological, and infrastructural continuities of existence, while also undermining our capacity to experience existence and to perceive ourselves as subjects within it.

The OI is committed to informing new pedagogical practices and sustaining an independent public space for debate — free from any political affiliation.

Governance
Who leads the Institute?
The Organologia Institute of PSL is directed by Professor François-Xavier de Vaujany (Université Paris Dauphine-PSL, DRM), elected President of the OI. The Institute includes an executive committee, a scientific committee, and an advisory board.
A larger ecosystem of scientific partners — including the Institute of Advanced Studies in São Paulo, the Research Group on Collaborative Spaces, and Université Paris Dauphine-PSL — feeds and supports the Institute’s discussions.
